New Single : Disfunctional (sic) to be released end of October

Hi all,

We are happy to announce the release of our 2nd single (from the album 'The Thrill Of The Fall) this October.

The track is Disfunctional (sic) and has been remixed & re-mastered by Edinburgh's Hooverfish.

Amazing what you can do with a home owned high definition handy cam and the help of a few friends on the day.

We will be premiering the video to the non-web based public at a launch gig on Friday 31st October at Edinburgh's wonderful Voodoo Rooms.

The 'our' World Tour

Well it's almost over. Our World Tour - our world being Edinburgh, Haddington and Fife - came to a close with a fantastic night in Leslie (never thought I'd ever say that in me life!) at The Greenside Hotel where we played as part of Sundaylatte in a punk sandwich inbetween the mighty Patrol (fantastic band!!) and Crimescene. The whole weekend was probably one of the most surreal of my musical life, in that we played with The Simple Touch on Saturday in Haddington who are shall we say 'soft folk' based musicians from North Berwick. Really nice guys but a total contrast to our new mates Patrol and Crimescene to say the very least. I was always a bit of a Mod/Indie kid when I was younger so to have won over two authentic punk bands and their supporters was and probably will always be, my greatest achievement in music! Steve had a ball and recounted many a punk fuelled tale from his past as he sat and watched in awe.

We met loads of lovely folks over the weekend - from The Voodoo Rooms to The Greenside it seemed as if everyone we met liked what we were doing and had a grand old time. We certainly did and reckon that for a launch weekend it couldn't have gone any better. We've got a wee instore gig on Sunday (Borders Books at Fort Kinnaird) asssuming we've all recovered from the 'man flu' that seems to have floored most of us since the weekend - too old for this touring malarkey? After this one we're having a wee break from playing in order to try and pick up some album reviews and airplay - we're pretty confident that we should land some good airplay on Xfm, Radio Scotland and Radio One - which we hope will start to raise the profile of the band and album. Here's hoping.

Thanks to all for making the weekend such a good one - we're a lucky bunch of eejits knowing so many cool folks and making enw friends along the way - and for those who got their mits on an album we hope you enjoy the tunes - why not feedback your thoughts and opinions, we're keen to hear what you think?

The Album Launch Night

Just a note to say thanks to all who attended our album launch on Friday 27th June 2008.

Hoochie Fig played a blinder of a set and special thanks to Keith for chumming to the pub once I'd dropped my drum kit back home!

The whole band (Ten Storeys High) played a blinder too even if I say so myself....

Around 90 folks turned up and stayed for the duration too at Edinburgh's Voodoo Rooms (in the Speakeasy) Thanks again to Andy for the venue and Ben for organising the Bourbon sponsor.

Haddington, & Leslie were amazing gigs too... thanks to everyone who turned out.
